Cons

As someone who worked as cabin crew for Ryanair, I can honestly say: if you think flying with them is bad as a passenger, try working for them. The company thrives on cutting corners, and unfortunately, that applies to both customer experience and employee treatment. The shifts are brutal, the pay is barely livable once you factor in all the hidden costs (like paying for your own uniform, training, and even water during flights), and there's zero support from management. You're pressured to sell overpriced snacks and scratch cards constantly—because your job depends on sales, not safety or service. Turnaround times are so tight that we barely had time to clean the cabin, let alone reset properly for the next flight. Planes were often dirty, and any technical issue felt brushed aside in favor of staying on schedule. Safety takes a back seat to profits. Also, don't expect any humanity from scheduling or HR. If you're sick, you’re penalized. If you speak up, you’re replaceable. Morale among the crew was consistently low. Everyone was exhausted, undervalued, and just trying to make it through the day. In short: Ryanair doesn’t care about its crew, and it shows in the way passengers are treated too. Cheap flights come at a cost—and it's usually paid in stress, discomfort, and complete lack of dignity. I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone, and I definitely wouldn't ever work for them again.

Pros

Staff travel (after 12 months service)

Cons

Very bad management Little to no benefits - 20 days AL (3 must be used for Christmas, no healthcare, no maternity / paternity etc) Culture is terrible and morale within the team was so low they’d rather have everyone leave than address the reasons as to why Very high turnover in head office, and I can see why. I would not recommend it here.
