Pros

Staff travel (even this is restricted)

Cons

Long 12 hour shifts Constant threat of bonus being deducted Managers (the bridge) cause more issues than actually being there Lots of people on a power trip How the airline can safely operate is beyond me, lots of short cuts, being told not to follow procedures, management focused on pointless targets e.g how many phone calls answered etc No real training given, procedures can change day to day but nobody advised, or the wrong people advised. No clear management structure ‘Winter training’ provided even though we were not given a say in what the training was about. New rules on swaps causing arguments and allowing people to work for free. I’ve worked additional 2 days for free because of this. HR no support
