Pros

- Great culture with friendly environment to work in - Smart, interesting colleagues who are fun to spend time with! - Caring leadership who aim to improve working life at Rover - Flexible working and supportive management - Really interesting product, two sided marketplace

Cons

- Timezones - the team is spread across Europe and Seattle so there can be difficult hours to sync across geographies - Salaries could be more competitive

Pros

Intelligent and kind people from top to bottom in organisation (the CEO turns up to company meetings in his hoodie with his dog licking his face!) The mission statement and core values are lived & breathed (not just wallpaper/marketing bumpf). The company really takes care of it's employees and is proactive in looking out for them and providing support & wellness benefits Close to 30 languages spoken amongst the team in Barcelona (and there is a lot of possibilities to learn from your peers as there are a wide variety of skillsets in the team)

Cons

- Nothing. Now that the company is public it will be interesting to observe whether the culture is impacted by this.

Pros

I've had a great experience working for Rover and it's honestly been great for my career. I've had good managers and was put in positions to learn new things and take on different roles. The company has lots of great benefits in my opinion. When I do go into the office, it's great to bring my dog and see colleagues' dogs as well. People work hard and there's a sense of shared mission. Working at Rover has been a great experience.

Cons

Many people in company are located on west coast of US so sometimes I have meetings at the end of my work day and the beginning of theirs (like 4:00-6:15 PM in Barcelona). If that happens, I generally start my day slightly later or take a longer break mid-day.
