      Poor Culture, no work life balance

      Pros

      There really aren’t any…. They view snacks as a pro but I’d rather see my family than work 60 hours a week for 50k a year…..

      Cons

      Management is young and inexperienced. They expect 12 hour days on salary to churn out as many reports as possible. The training is subpar and they target communities with low access to appraiser training to capitalize. They say it’s in an effort to ‘diversify the appraisal industry’ but they under pay the employees without access to appraiser training. They promise work life balance and there is none, and the management is just a glorified cattle prod. Look elsewhere

      Pros

      There are some great people to work with at Rocket. Very corporate, but the expectations are very reasonable and people are very willing to teach you things.

      Cons

      Legacy software is the business. The software in this industry is not well documented online so often you have to find the person who knows how the thing works. That can be challenging in an unsatisfying way.
