      People are friendly, very professional, and the benefits are awesome!

      Cons

      Management is a joke! They have this brotherhood, and they play around with people. No career oriented, and going with the flow, they do what the director (in his/her little kingdom) thinks its right, and not what would be best for the company.

      None now, plenty of "benefits" but they're just a drop of honey in a cup of poison.

      Cons

      Terrible management structure, especially in engineering. Terrible HR who hide complaints, back senior managers and circumnavigate their own policies and employment laws to suit their narratives.

      Pros

      Roche keeps pumping money into the nanopore sequencer project.

      Cons

      Nanopore sequencing project in Santa Clara is the most Machiavellian company culture I have ever come across in my career. People constantly bad-mouthing each other behind their backs. No teamwork or cooperation between groups because they are all too busy pointing fingers at each other to actually solve problems that plague the platform. Any new employees that attempt to break through this culture get punished and end up living out the five monkeys experiment.
