Pros

Rituals is a company that invests heavily in training, which is something I truly appreciated. With tools like the Book of Rituals, you’re never left without guidance. The salary is competitive, and the company offers a range of great benefits. Overall, the communication within the company is solid, and the environment is generally positive.

Cons

While I had no major issues during my two years with the company, the one time I needed support, I didn’t get it. Instead, I felt a lot of pressure placed on me. This ultimately led me to resign. The manager at my store didn’t seem to understand leadership—she focused more on getting people to agree with her than on truly supporting and motivating the team. The HR department is not prepared to handle problems effectively. Payslip issue.

Pros

If you're in a underperforming store, which is all full price stores, there's a bond between employee's. Free items when training.

Cons

Monthly kick off meetings which you have to come in on your day off if you are not scheduled to work that day, resulting in full timers working 6 days that week, or working a nearly 12 hour day. HR is beyond a joke. Any concerns given to them, they seem to take a soft approach. Heartbeat could be stealing from the store, and they would say there's no evidence. Always a he said she said mentality. Area managers are no support, always wanting more from you, if you aren't in the green for every KPI they fail you on store reports. Never heard of anyone getting 100% on a store report, any store visit below 85% for 3 consecutive times goes on a performance plan, which everyone obviously is on because of the unachievable targets. You are expected to be a sales advisor to customers, shop host, cleaner, HR, Stock operations, hit all targets and KPI's whilst being slightly higher than minimum wage. Very high staff turnover due to toxic workplace. 40 hour work week with only 1 hour break, which can never be taken in the middle of the day due to being busy and having no staff. Always lone working, never happens in other stores in same shopping mall.
