Good experience, but long-term motivation is lacking
Pros
had the opportunity to work at Ricoh Rus for several years, and during this time, I gained a lot of valuable experience. The company provides interesting tasks and exposure to innovative printing technologies, which helped me grow professionally. The team is one of the strongest aspects of working here—collaborative, knowledgeable, and always willing to support each other. The work environment is generally positive, and the structure allows you to develop problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
Cons
However, despite the valuable experience and strong team, the company severely lacks long-term motivation and employee recognition. Salary growth is slow and inconsistent, and even after years of dedication, financial appreciation is minimal. For example, after five years of work, the recognition amounted to just 100 $—a sum that hardly reflects the effort and loyalty invested. Career progression is another weak point. Internal promotions are rare, and opportunities for professional growth within the company are limited. Employees are often expected to take on additional responsibilities without fair compensation or clear advancement paths. Management’s approach to retaining talent feels outdated, as there is little effort to incentivize experienced employees to stay. Overall, Ricoh Rus is a good place to gain experience, but if you're looking for long-term career development, financial growth, or strong employee appreciation, you might want to consider other options.
