Pros

Plenty of work if they don't loose too many more customers.

Cons

Every year they micromanage more. This makes it more difficult to get the job done. Management has no clue about retaining customers or how to treat employees. Management will implement a "new" program that isn't new at all. The same thing was tried 20 years ago and was a dismal failure. Even when it is shown to loose customers, is less productive for employees, and is bad for the company. They won't admit it or let go of it. It's baffling! I resigned from one promotion and declined another because I had a life and family. Working 60 to 80 hours a week doesn't leave time for either. I started in 1981 as a trainee and made better money when you adjust for inflation than I did at the top of my field in 2017. In the last 3 years my workload increased 300% and my salary only went up 4%. I was unceremoniously fired while I was off on medical leave. They didn't even tell me. I found out because my medical insurance was cancelled. I was a very good employee. I was the only tech in the area to always get quarterly bonuses, year after year. To be treated this poorly after over 35 years shows how little they care for people. To sum it up: Low salary, poor raises, heavy workload, and frustrating micromanagement.

Pros

Disclaimer: I was hired into the Business Process Agility (BPA) group on the Healthcare Consulting team. -There are a few smart folks in the consulting group - e.g., healthcare, legal, higher ed. -Some consultants are ambitious, and would like the practice to grow. There are lawyers, PHDs, MBAs, etc in the group.

Cons

-It's a sinking ship, as their primary business model (printers, faxes, interactive whiteboard devices, etc) is dying. -They want to get deeper into consulting, but they have no real services to sell. -They claim to be on par with Big 4 (I kept hearing this on many calls), but they completely lack the talent, services, brainpower, management, etc. -I was thrown under the bus for a project I didn't even lead; and I learned nothing at Ricoh Healthcare. -Many, many layoffs.
