      Good place to work, needs better communications

      Pros

      Excellent training, good benefits, benign corporation. Access to resources was great.

      Cons

      Nickle and dime you to death (expense reimbursement messed up) no communication across departments, leadership was a distant concept. Too much focus on esoteric "values" instead of treating employees and customers as real people,

      Pros

      The flexibility of work schedules and new people coming into the company make it a nice place to work. There is plenty of work to do and new things to learn as the company looks to create its own identity. The company also appears to look internally to promote and I think that shows value of employees on some level.

      Cons

      The majority of employees at the company are from IBM and say they want change but really cannot manage to change. IBM is the way they know and they can't move away from things being done a certain way. The senior leadership struggles with the same mentality and can't move away from IBM thinking. Senior leadership also needs to listen to those below them and trust those doing the job to understand what the challenges and obstacles are every day and value that input in making business decisions.

      Ricoh, Great potential long term & serious issues in the present

      Pros

      Good Culture and people. Good products to sell. Good training as a relatively new Rep. Ricoh is doing most of the right things to be successful.

      Cons

      Administrative problems that slow sales cycles & make a sales reps job more about putting out fires than selling MFP's. We also are having issues with Implementing an Oracle database conversion. Ricoh is making strides to fix these problems. Hopefully a lot of them will be behind us soon
