Pros

There are no pros at this job.

Cons

You are monitored 24/7 at this job now. Never used to be like this. Company recently moved offices to Exton and they monitor employees constantly. Used to be able to work from home, but now need to come into the office 4 days a week. Have to come in on Mondays and Fridays indefinitely. Even when you do come in the office, if you use a phone room to do work in, you'll get in trouble for that. The phone rooms are quieter than the general office space, but it doesn't matter if you are trying to be more productive, as long as you are seen, that's the main objective. I'm counting down the days till they start monitoring how many times we can use the bathroom.

Find somewhere else to work

Pros

The people that work here are some of the nicest, hardest working, passionate people you will ever meet. Everyone has a desire to succeed and do great work. If you are a new hire you will be paid well. Paid time off is decent and a standard 401(k) with match. However If the company is in financial trouble the first thing to go is the employer match.

Cons

Leadership is completely disengaged from those beneath them and what it takes to get their impossible demands met. You can’t continually lay off people every few months and expect twice the amount of work to be done in a fraction of the time. Morale is at an all time low. Those remaining fear for their jobs, are stressed out, working more than ever for no reward. Promotions are non existent, raises are minimal. New hires will make significantly more than those with years of company and industry experience. New policy only allows employees to work from home one day a week T, W, or Th so we no longer have flexible work schedules, the one thing that made working here bearable. You are now required to be in the office 4 days a week. This is further stressing out those that are already at their breaking point. Nearly everyone is miserable. Leadership constantly changes direction so just when things are about to get up and running the regime changes and you start all over again from square one. It used to be a great place to work it’s sad to say most people dread what each new day will bring. They are kidding themselves if they think anyone likes the new world of work open office spaces and being chained to them 4 days a week. It isn’t collaborative and in fact you will find leadership holed up in conference rooms all day every day completely disengaged from those beneath them.

Pros

1. Many opportunities to grow - If you follow the "RICOH Career training" their are literally hundreds of possibilities for advancement. 2. Resources - I found that anything I needed to do my job, management was able to either purchase or acquire from another location

Cons

1. Top Heavy management - I had four bosses, most of which didn't like each other. I found that it was hard to get clear objectives because I was pulled in multiple directions. 2. Easy to be ostracized - I had many fellow employees who had earned a reputation of "not following the RICOH way". This basically meant that they weren't going to be allowed to advance.
