The senior leadership team isn't a team. Instead they spend their time competing with one another at the expense of their teams. It's a very disempowering environment. You can't expect too have much freedom in anything and its a very clique environment. Some people have their paths laid out for them while seasoned professionals get neglected.

Had numerous run ins with the local management team who had no experience of how to run a manufacturing company and some staff sucked up to this imcompetencies. Lots of bullying and threats if you did not see things their way. They will find a legal way to let you go, even if you had tried and tested methods of achieving outcomes. Being experienced in the motor manufacturing with other German brands did not matter. You are seen as a threat to the local management teams yet you inputs were initially invaluable.
