Pros

* Good salary with bonus options * Great product - proud to speak about it * Friendly team/atmosphere * Modern, up-to-date technical stack * Clear progression track

Cons

For >1 year can't find significant cons. Some people complains about too high flexibility - you might be pulled into another project for 2-3 weeks, with expectation to make a meaningful contribution there in a short period of time.

Thank you for your review, and for appreciating that we hire the best so our Revoluters can work with the most talented people in the world. Revolut wants to reinvent how the world does money. We want to deliver great things for our customers and that ambition to get things done quickly can sometimes be challenging. At the same time we want everyone to enjoy working at Revolut and to achieve a good work/life balance. Please watch out for advice and tips from HR and Workplace Experience on how to achieve that and do reach out to your manager if you are struggling. We hope you continue to stay the course as part of our Revolut story.

Pros

* cool product * ability to work with modern technologies * good salary, but it's not worth it

Cons

* CEO is a lunatic * fear based culture * chaotic roadmap, ever changing requirements, engineers are blamed for it * public shaming on Slack and at meetings * unclear expectations for promotion * overtime is very much expected, and this is being openly communicated as well by the CEO

We object strenuously to the mischaracterisation of Nik with whom our people are thrilled to work. He's driven by the goal of ensuring that we realise our ambition of creating a truly global financial superapp - that will enable our customers to manage all their financial needs in a single place. We don't see the ambition to achieve something that no-one has ever achieved before as a lunacy. We see it as being determined to find and lead brilliant people to deliver what Revolut's customers want, however hard that appears. As he says - a lot - we never settle. Happily there are lots of us who share his ambition and his vision and we hope to find many more who'll love working on exciting ambitious projects and learning from the brilliant people around them as much as we do. Delivering wow.
