Toxic culture and poor management

Pros

High base salary, flexible working hours, remote work options

Cons

The company has a very poor management structure (at least that’s what I experienced in my department). Decisions are enforced from top down, sometimes coming directly from the CEO without any negotiations and proof of concept. Another issue is the overall company culture. In most of the cases the management does not want to hear of the structural problems in the workflow and instead of fixing them you will be expected to spend a huge amount of time on inefficient workarounds.

Pros

worked as a Sales Manager at Revolut, and overall, my experience was quite positive. Here's my review based on different aspects: Salary: Revolut offered a competitive salary for the Sales Manager position. The company is known for providing attractive compensation packages, and my salary was in line with industry standards. I found the pay to be satisfactory and reflective of my responsibilities. Meritocracy: Revolut operates on a meritocratic system, which means that employees are recognized and rewarded based on their performance and contributions. I appreciated this aspect of the company culture, as it created a fair and motivating environment. Hard work and achievements were acknowledged and often led to career growth opportunities. Rewarding: The Sales Manager role at Revolut was rewarding in multiple ways. Firstly, the company provided ample opportunities for professional development and growth. I had access to various training programs and resources that helped me enhance my skills and knowledge in sales. Secondly, achieving sales targets and meeting goals often resulted in bonuses and incentives, which were great motivators. Lastly, the nature of the work itself was fulfilling as I got to engage with clients, build relationships, and contribute to the company's growth. Work Culture: The work culture at Revolut was dynamic and fast-paced. The company operates in the fintech industry, which is known for its agility and innovation. This fast-paced environment may not be suitable for everyone, but if you thrive in such settings, you will likely enjoy working at Revolut. The team was collaborative and supportive, which made the overall work experience enjoyable. Challenges: As with any role, there were challenges associated with being a Sales Manager at Revolut. The targets and expectations could be demanding, requiring dedication and a proactive approach. Additionally, the company was experiencing rapid growth during my time there, which sometimes led to changes in processes and strategies. Adapting to these changes could be a challenge, but it also presented opportunities for learning and personal development. Overall, my experience as a Sales Manager at Revolut was positive. The company provided a competitive salary, operated on a meritocratic system, and offered a rewarding work environment. If you are looking for a sales role in a dynamic fintech company, Revolut could be a great fit. However, it's important to be prepared for the fast-paced nature of the work and the challenges that come with it.

Cons

Revolut sets high sales targets, which can be challenging to achieve. The company has ambitious growth goals, and as a Sales Manager, meeting these targets was a significant part of my responsibilities. This level of expectation may create pressure and require dedication and hard work to consistently perform at a high level. But overall, a great company to work.
