Pros

Good pay, and company truck for field staff

Cons

Terrible leadership, always threaten employees with staff reductions to get to work more, treats employees badly. Looks for every loop hole possible to screw employees.

Pros

Colleagues are well prepared and nice people

Cons

Lack of leadership. Top Management are constantly meeting in Madrid but no results are seen. Constants lay off due to poor asset management. Salary is low compared to other companies. You always get the feel that the business in is risk and you may be kicked out at any moment.

Pros

The best part about working at Repsol is the people. The company has very talented people in all areas who are passionate about their work and enjoy working together. It is a truly international company, so there are different and interesting projects around the world - lots of opportunities to do new things and grow professionally. I also find it personally enriching to work with such a diverse team. Repsol values work-life balance and has a corporate culture that supports flexibility, which is very important to me. They offer the 9/80 schedule in The Woodlands, and they recently introduced a work-from-home option for one day a week. The office in The Woodlands is beautiful, technologically advanced and way more convenient than downtown or the energy corridor, which is what initially attracted me to work here. The Americas are a key strategic region for Repsol, so there is a strong and bright future for the office in The Woodlands.

Cons

Most of the leaders are from Spanish-speaking countries, and the company has a tendency to fill vacancies with expats from Spain. This has improved drastically in recent years, but there is still room for improvement in this area. It would also be nice to see more expats from the USA sent to other countries.
