The Good and the Bad

Pros

Good people to work with in the Houston office.

Cons

The company is very centralized and has a tough time in distributing work to other locations. It is in the midst of integrating Talisman (latest acquisition) and is having a tough time figuring out what to do with them...especially in the midst of the energy price drops. North America is currently being directed from the ex-Talisman Calgary office which ultimately responds to the Madrid office. There is a strong Spanish management mentality...and is difficult to break above the glass ceiling.

Pros

Work life balance is very good.

Cons

Highly discriminatory. Upper management does not have room to work with their employees. Hence, high turnover. Many contract workers. Unstabble environment.
