Pros

Repsol has a very laid back culture, once you do your job well you're fine. Able to enjoy a great balance between work and family life. Excellent benefits and salary. Peaceful easy going work environment.

Cons

Typical challenges like any other company, no company is perfect its just how you deal with it that makes the difference

Horrible environment

Pros

Definitely it was nice to go to the company's facility in Alaska, with great conditions.

Cons

I am glad I am not there anymore: the environment is horrible. The main problem there is that the company is too centralized. The directors in Madrid (most of them are very rude) make all the decision, even though they have no idea what is going on. I assume most of these decision are based on personal goals rather than firms goals. Same issue with decisions about employees; if you suck up the people in the human resources, you will get plenty of opportunities. Thus, if you are a brown noser (I actually learn that expression while there :D), definitely this is you company!

Pros

- Trip abroad to learn Spanish - 401k

Cons

- Directors and managers do not speak Spanish at all and they don't mind to speak in Spanish in meetings (very RUDE staff!) - Bureaucracy - Arbitrary HR decisions... It seems its better to be a friend of the right person to get promoted rather than working hard. Not surprisingly the best workers usually do not last much in this office. - Career projection?
