Dictator management style

Pros

Not sure yet, large global integrated oil and company with upstream and downstream capabilities. High dedication and emphasis towards technology.

Cons

Bureaucratic, poor communication, lack of clarity, biased for preferential treatment of Spanish workers throughout the company in all locations. Does not listen well to recommendations and then harshly makes decisions.

Repsol USA

Business Outlook

Pros

Offer a flexible 9/80 work schedule.

Cons

Quite possibly the worst boss I've had in over 30 years. Prejudiced towards Expats over local staff. Company run by politicians, no practical experience in O&G = poor investments.

Former state-owned company

Pros

Good work life balance. Job stability especially interesting in a low oil price context. Good expat conditions.

Cons

Low salaries. Excessive bureaucracy (legacy of being a state-owned company in the past). Inefficient IT services.
