      A company with immature culture and colleagues, and makes it difficult to grow technical experience.

      Pros

      Benefits are ok, and flexible work hours.

      Cons

      The culture and colleagues perpetuate immature behavior and are sometimes unethical. As for technical growth, the company often refuses to update old systems and equipment and the customer (US DOD) is always unhappy about that. New hires are put in jobs randomly as needed rather that the jobs they interviewed for. The company expects employees to do the job they are put into from hire to retirement, with the only growth being in leadership position.

      Pros

      Most people, who are not managers, are very nice.

      Cons

      Very political. There is a chasm between the Management and the Workers. If you tell a manager that there is a problem with a product you may very likely be targeted for retaliation including bad reviews, less pay increases and lay off. Example, try to find out what happened to any engineers who spoke out about problems on the Patriot Missile System in the 1990s.

      You are expected to Die on the Job , 87 hours a week with travel, by god do not get sick, they still expect you to work

      Absolutely cutting edge technology World class programs and project engineering management Good collaboration with team mates as long as they are not at your level Decent Pay

      Cons

      Peer Team mates on your own level will stab you in the back Friend/ Enemies describes the work environment their is no safe ground Senior Management will blind side you with out good communication and then blame it on you Do not report a problem as it was your fault you found the problem an then you are not a team mate You can absolutely forget work life and family 87 hour weeks and with travel and management is still not happy demanding more hours when you have not been home in 3 months
