Pros

Recognize talent and willing to help employee continue to develop their career. Great work life balance. Will pay for 1x OT whenever OT is needed. Most .com doesn't pay for OT but work 60 hours a week.

Cons

Some managers use their position as stepping stone and don't watch for the best interest of people under them. Upper manager doesn't realize or maybe not willing to admit that a lot of people take the section manager route just to get their promotion without proofing themselves. Everyone is aware of this which is such for engineer who really contribute to the success of the company.

Pros

Solid company that has wisely invested in both foreign and domestic contracts. Merit based promotions seem fair. Decent opportunities. Company will train you if needed. You can easily make a lifetime career with this company.

Cons

Large company that has too many processes/red tape at times for domestic contracts. United Healthcare is a terrible HMO if you have a family. You will get a bill for everything related to your children/pregnancy/prescriptions.

Pros

Appreciates hard work Outstanding benefits Diverse opportunities

Cons

Bonuses strongly dependent upon company success. If company has has a good year (met or exceeded all 4 company goals), bonuses are very fairly reflective of your performance; hoever, if company did not meet or exceed their 4 goals, bonuses are not as reflective of your individual performance. Often, this is determined by military funding calendar more tgan company's success and Raytheon works on a typical calendar year, not the government's fiscal year, so it is difficult at times for funding to arrive in time.
