Love RMS, not too sure about Tucson

Pros

Executive Management team is wonderful. I think there is a strong leadership team - making RMS a great sucess. II have worked for other businesses within Raytheon, and RMS is by far the best business. The 9/80 schedule is really nice since it allows employees to take care of personal business during the regular work week. RMS is one of the few businesses within Raytheon that actually supports the 9/80 schedule.

Cons

"good old boy network" - silos new or younger employees. there is a poor attitude from those who are sitting and waiting to retire.

Pros

Engineering department has many intelligent people, who work hard for the customer. Overall, the benefits are very good.

Cons

Leadership seems to have a lack of direction. Solipsys has strayed from its core competencies, abandoning some smaller customers where we have had success, in favor of larger jobs with more overhead. Need to improve funding for tools and equipment - both are miniscule compared to time, and we are often behind the curve.

Understaffing and expectations to work long hours. As with any big company, there are a lot of politics involved in promotions and raises.
