Pros

PwC is the leader out of the Big4 companies in the Bay Area. Recruiting was done professionally and made it as comfortable as possible. You will learn a ton of info about audit in the first years. Big4 experience is a very good thing to have on a resume and the hard work that you put in now will pay off in the future. Fellow employees are smart, ambitious, and extremely hard working. Overall great place to be.

Cons

Long hours and lots of work, but this is what you sign up for. Long commute times, but it depends on where your client is located.

Pros

PwC has a good, energetic environment where you can really learn a lot. The people are always willing to teach you and develop your skills, so that you can take on more responsibilities.

Cons

Although it isn't cutthroat at all, it can be pretty competitive. If you want to do really well, you'll have to sacrifice many nights and/or weekends. Basically, your workload is what you want it to be. If you're fine with just meeting (and not exceeding) expectations, you'll actually have a pretty good work/life balance.
