Management is lacking in empathy and professionalism
Pros
-Plenty of overtime available to do at various times such as early mornings, afternoons, evenings etc -Decent pay which is above the minimum wage -Staff discount of roughly 10% off -Usually busy so there's always something to do -Many of the other staff are lovely and very easily to get along with
Cons
By far the worst problem here is the management. The biggest problems have been: -Changing staff hours short notice (easily under a days notice)and without agreement from the workers -They pressure you to do overtime and are exceptionally rude if you refuse and believe it is accetable to question you on why -Have the attitude that there's a rule for us and not for them; I've seen one behave in a way on the shop floor that would likely get me into serious trouble if I did the same The actual shop is unbearable as the air con is old and doesn't function well. At one point, the heating was on during a very hot weekend because it was broken, making it a difficult workplace to function in.
