Pros

Friendly environment and team, nice people to work with. Always had things to do due the size of the shop and amount of clothes per section you are working at.

Cons

Could be boring for some people to replace the clothes literally every minute of working shift - the total amount of customers is simply terrific, which is a good thing, though gives you too much repatitive work, quite exhausting (mostly if you work the full-day-shift.) Salary could be higher of course, too.

Pros

- the variety of roles both front of house and back - conducive work environment - always work to be done...not much sitting around - stock room work not for the faint-hearted

Cons

- demanding managers - irresponsible co-workers - low pay considering the strenuous work involved especially stock room duties

Pros

A good thing about working would be that it is ideal for people who like to keep busy. There is never a moment when there is nothing to do. If progression is something you're interested in then it's possible to do so at Primark. I saw countless weekend sales assistants being promoted to supervisors.

Cons

If you are a student its more than likely you will be put on weekend shifts. Parents and older people are assigned hours through the week. To me, I didn't think this was fair that only the students had to sacrifice their weekends and work late hours. Management were often rude to employees by expecting the impossible and generally not being respectful. A sales assistant at Primark is a very demanding job for the measly £4.87 under 18's got. (Not sure if its still the same).
