      Pros

      As I work in the weekends, majority of staff are within my age range therefore, I am able to bond with them easily. Making friends in the workplace makes the job bearable.

      Cons

      Weekends are their busiest days of the week, because of this the store becomes a mess at the end of the day but also during the day. Very time consuming to keep up with the store's messy folding tables. Also, sales assistants are not paid enough for the amount of effort and dedication that is put in the work and 0 benefts

      Pros

      As a student i've worked for a few different retail stores and to most people's surprise, Primark have been my favourite employer (I only left because I got an internship). It's a pretty relaxed working environment with regard to flexibility - If i couldn't make a shift because of extenuating circumstance my line manager was willing to shuffle it around. Young workforce meant that I was able to get on with everyone. I was on a till so the day-to-day shifts were pretty straightforward and the availability of supervisors made it easy to get help when needed.

      Cons

      Can be quiet on evening shift which therefore drag. Can be very busy on the shop floor at the weekends, i did some overtime there and was very tired at the end of it. If this was your full time job it could be quite fun.
