Primark reviews

The managers and Pnc treat you like you’re beneath them. I suspect racist too. They make you wait after your shift is finished as well. Horrible people. Don’t recommend.

The mandatory in-office requirement is inflexible and has made work–life balance significantly harder, especially for anyone with caregiving responsibilities. Career progression opportunities are minimal, and pay reviews/promotion pathways are unclear or not communicated. A very strict hierarchy system is followed within the business with some very small departments having 5 or 6 levels of hierarchy. This makes it next to impossible to have any visibility or impact in your role. The culture feels increasingly rigid, with decisions often made without considering employee well being or changing circumstances. A very elitist culture where who you know is a lot more valued and recognised as opposed to the work you do or service provided. What is allowed for one employee would not be allowed for the next. Overall a disappointing experience after wanting to work for this business for a long time. If you are looking to take a head office role with Primark, I'd like to offer the advice to please consider the above.
