Moving to Cambridge MA is mistake

Philips moved its Andover MA office to Cambridge in early 2020, during the pandemic. Lots of employs live in north MA or New Hampshire. The commute can be as long as more than 2 hours--One Way. Many people left the company for that reason. There are only 1200 desks for over 2000 people--before the pandemic. People are supposed to share desks and spaces. That is good recipe to spread virus. The idea of hot-desking is simply dead and impossible. The new office is close to Biogen, which held a conference in January 2020 and spread the virus around the world. IT and HR service almost do not exist in the MA office. You have to call someone on another part of the world if you have any issue or question.
