Pros

An opportunity to improve on experience to advance.

Cons

Not enough support from hiring managers when conducting the recruiting process. There is a disconnect between Senior Managers and front-line Managers about the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.

Pros

This is a big company which offers good pay and benefits. A lot of great people to learn from. When you can get training it is very good.

Cons

Contractor positions never become full time even after several years of hard work and dedication. There is an unfair treatment between how employees and contractors are treated. No raises or incentives provided for contractors as well.

Pros

Fairly up-to-date with policies to address work-life balance (for example, working from home when needed) "Talking the talk" Looks good on a resume.

Cons

Most employees in my office feel uncomfortable using those work-life policies. There is the perception that management frowns upon working from home. Not "walking the talk". Substantial glass ceiling for women in certain business units and geographic regions.
