      Pros

      A very structured organization. Ideal place to work for those who like a controlled atmosphere.An organization with very good Internal Control, Self assessment and Governance mechanism. Can be compared to best in industry systems and processes.

      Cons

      A slow organization, Decision making is quite laid back and hence innovation and competitiveness becomes a challenge in todays fast evolving and changing scenario. Competition has therefore caught up with Philips and also overtaken it in many spheres, be it products, technology, innovation, pricing, time to market and so on.

      Good company but Cost cutting is hurting

      Pros

      Strong innovative company. Nice product portfolio. They will continue to thrive in the US. Healthcare is their biggest and strongest arm in the US.

      Cons

      They cut costs to stay profitable but at the expense of possibly overworking their field engineers. The products they sell tend to be higher price but higher quality. It will be a harder sell since the Healthcare Reform.
