Plenty of opportunity for growth. I spent 10 years at Pfizer at which I was able to go from admin assist. to Senior Associate. Great experience there.

Cons

The only down side was the layoff.

Solid company, good benefits, pay. Management reflects the high value the culture places on developing people.

Cons

With some younger managers, good people often not recognized. A lot of young people trying to act like "grownups". Research direction can be ambiguous for scientific/technical research group--reflects the environment they operate in.
