      Pros

      I love being a part of Pfizer and I think they may have finally gotten the picture. They must develop, listen, innovate and change to stay alive and win popular love and trust. They are finally doing that! Great Healthcare, perks, etc. Free prescriptions medications included in your insurance to ALL drugs, EVERYWHERE.

      Cons

      Occassionally get stuck under the Human Resource blanket by politics, etc. They realize little about the actual job, etc.

      Unlimited resources (financial, technical, etc); knowledgeable and dedicated scientists leading labs, lab technicians/associates are highly skilled as well as hard working and eager to learn

      Cons

      Leadership of some therapeutic areas lack requisite scientific insight/knowledge/strategy and ability to integrate talent at level of labs; ultimately ineffective senior leadership

      Pros

      Pfizer provides lot of resources for their scientists, and many opportunities to learn and grow. Management encourages formation of cross-functional teams, where people from different disciplines can discuss and learn from each other. Pfizer offers great benefits including a pension plan.

      Cons

      Being a team oriented organization it might take multiple meetings to come to decisions. A lot of time is being spent on project meetings, sub-team meetings, face to face meetings, department meetings, telecons ....
