Pros
Can gain a lot of experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Would guess that as a new person just starting out, a great place to learn.
Cons
Has gone from first to worst as a place for reps to work in record time. The culture of smart, consultative representatives has been systematically beaten down and/or replaced with a huge "promotional" force of micro-managed box checkers. For the reps, by necessity the customers (physicians) are last on a long priority list - first priority is always the internal Pfizer customer - Management. The sheer layers of management are astounding. Sad, really.
