Business Outlook
Pros
Overall, I had a great post-doc experience at Pfizer. I learned a lot and was treated as a member of the team. Compensation and benefits were also terrific. I was able to attend both internal and external conferences, publish, collaborate, and gain valuable industry experience.
Cons
Like any large global corporation, Pfizer can be confusing to navigate, maybe more so for post-docs since it's a small program. Things can seem chaotic at times, and there were lay-offs during my time there. But that's part of pharma, and it's good to find out sooner than later if it's a good fit for you.
