Pros

- The training is above average and the brand recognition is amazing. You really don't have to sell anything the brand sells itself . - I meet some really good people along the way - Salary is decent as long as you don't compare it to the workload placed upon you - Oh...you are fed really well during meetings

Cons

- Kiss your weekends and holidays goodbye and say hello to a 55-65 hour work week. - 3 am wake up call from your PT/Merch, FT/Merch,RSA,RSR,Equipment rep... take your pick, just know that one of them are calling in sick. This will happen often - Lately it seems if you are not a minority or a female your career path will end at DSL. Just a personal observation - Whatever pride there was in the front line work is rapidly beginning to disappear. You can see it in the marketplace. Stores are staged for fake RVP/DOS visits, on any other day the store looks like crap. New hires don't even pop n lace anymore.

Pros

Its a good position to learn inventory. People are friendly, they will help with any issue you have. The pay and benefits are good. I think they can pay better for the amount of work you do. Also, there's a lot of opportunity to job advisement, you just have to work hard.

Cons

Work outside. Throwing all the bad product to the dump. You will get splash with all the product. Plant goes by seniority, so if you are new expect to have the worst shifts for a while.

Pros

You don't need to go get an education or experience to work at PepsiCo: you can get Senior Research Scientist position if you are high school graduate or supervise laboratory employees without having any supervisory experience/skills. You just need to be PepsiCo management relative or close friend.

Cons

Due to the lab management by such "bright people" as described in “pros” section, I did not receive any training and was suffering from constant bullying by other contractors and undergraduate students. I think that management was aware of what was going on but they didn't care. No culture, no values whatsoever.
