Pros

Good pay, great benefits, a good work environment. The CSR position, or Route Sales is a good opportunity for young guys and gals (must be strong) you can make good money and the benefits package is awesome. Medical, dental, vision, 401K and stock options, not bad for a job you can get with just a high school diploma.

Cons

You work A LOT of hours, not much balance between life and work., many of the guys I know were divorced and didn't have enough time for family.

Pros

Frito Lay provides a consistent and steady job. The pay is respectable and overall benefits are very competitive. Frito Lay sells a great product and is striving to improve its impact on the environment from all aspects of the business.

Cons

Work life balance... there is no balance. Also, an individual brought in from outside the company is often "fast tracked" and promoted sooner than those who are working their way up from within the company.

Pros

The best reasons to work at PepsiCo as an Intern is the amount of leadership experience that you gain. I was given the responsibility of completing a high level project during my internship that allowed me to work with other coworkers and work independently using my own personal problem solving strategies. Also, there are many networking opportunities to meet management and coworkers in other functions. The Diversity Inclusion programs are a great aspect of the corporate culture and allows you to share experiences and engage in fulfilling activities with coworkers. Corporate culture is very friendly and goal oriented.

Cons

The internship program is a little unorganized. There was a mixup in the onboarding process and I had to wait a week to gain network access. There is no intern training program, so you have to either learn on your own or have a coworker train you when they have time.
