      It is a job and that is about it.

      Pros

      Having a job. Possibilities to transfer across country. Move up to make more money. Insurance benefits. Being able to go to different stores to merchandise.

      Cons

      We are just a number there. They are totally concerned about their numbers only. All employees are required to work weekends, no time off at all, very, very frowned upon if needed a day off. They want you to work fast and furious, no more than 40 hours per week, but expectations are 50 hours a week.

      Pros

      The opportunity for advancement in a short period of time. Freedom and ownership opportunities given to even new employees. Well known company with good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Ability to relocate is key. Often times interferes with work/life balance. Promotions not always based on merit, internal politics come into play.

      Not a place that you enjoy working

      Pros

      Pay is somewhat decent for the area but you do work hard for your money.

      Cons

      Very fast paced which is fine but when it becomes dangerous as so many people are trying to "make rate" it crosses the line. Near misses with forklifts and bumping into each other in tight, cramped corners can make it a little nerve racking. The only thing management cares about is how many chips you put on the truck. Lazy people prevail at my plant and there is a sense of entitlement to people who have been there a long time. Never have I seen so many lazy, backstabbing , lying people in one place.
