Pros

As a book publishing company, they emphasize on learning, education and employee growth. If you spend little more time with they will give you opportunity for better job title.

Cons

Don't invest time and resources on entry level positions.

Pros

PRH is a great company, offering the highest/competitive salaries for entry-level employees. With great PTO and a holiday break, full-remote option and bookish people, I’d recommend working here to people interested in publishing.

Cons

There’s a lot of ebb and flow in workload in the beginning, and then you’re really on all the time. Not typically an issue, but add with that demand a generally low pay rate and things become a little more sad. But low pay is an issue across publishing, particularly when starting out, so be aware. And there’s not enough diversity in authors or employees, which is quite sad for the largest publisher in the U.S.
