Pros

Free books are always great. Benefits were pretty good. Solid work-life balance (although this depends on your team). I wasn't expected to take on work that didn't fit my job description. It was a very well-organized team.

Cons

Low pay. I'm not sure if it has been addressed since I left, but there were clear pay discrepancies between men and women in the same position (men were exempt, women were non-exempt). Lots of managers are promoted because they've put their time in or "paid their dues." They might be good marketers, but it's clear that they haven't made an effort to learn how to manage people.

Toxic work culture in my department. Obsolete processes. Condescending leadership. Unprofessional environment. Performative meetings. Vague passive aggressive communication.
