      Great environment that fosters creativity and strong interpersonal relationships. Passionate, enthusiastic people; great benefits.

      Cons

      More than 40 hours of work a week; can feel as though hard work isn't always recognized as often (or with financial reward) as it could be.

      Pros

      Great company benefits. Free books and plenty of paid time off.

      Cons

      Since Penguin Random House has many imprints, I can only speak for mine. Employees are overworked and undervalued. Salary does not reflect this amount of work. Management does not respect and often belittles employees.
