Pros

Free books, great name for CV

Cons

Incredibly cliquey. Not just class ridden but still a chasm between former Penguin and Random House staff. No diversity. Abusive and spineless management. A lot of lip service given to being progressive but there’s absolutely no actions behind the ‘intention’.

Pros

If you like books, you can get discounts and free books sometimes. There are some good colleagues here but not at management levels.

Cons

Do not be fooled by this employer. Not the employer I thought it was. There is no care for employee. Employer puts on a face but is rife with poor treatment of employees & colleagues. Lack of job security here. Poor pay. Lacks diversity and actually seen belittling of groups and colleagues from management and HR. People are not valued.
