      * If you are lucky, get a paycheck without doing anything - a huge number of people have no responsibility and no work * Management has no clue and hence you may get lucky and get promoted for maintaining a tiny three-page web application

      Cons

      * 5-10% of the staff do 95% of the work * If you are in that 5%, you are overworked * Pearson is geographically diverse and you have to be talking to Sri Lanka, Boston or Denver; basically working 24 hours. * They are shutting most offices in US and moving development to low-cost centers like Chennai and Sri Lanka * They create humongous complicated architectures and thus spend millions in AWS costs.
