Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Great co-workers, worked together to complete assigned tasks. Focused higher management, they know where they want to company to go in the future.

Cons

There are those who do and those who manage. Middle management lacks proper training and foresight. If you have a good personal relationship with your manager you are more apt to be promoted over harder working team members.

Pros

CEO has integrity -- Pearson wants to improve education worldwide. Great culture and people.

Cons

Your (positive or negative) experience at Pearson depends a lot on the culture of your department and the senior manager. Difficult to advance in career path unless others leave. Salary increases are minimal, even with promotions.

Pros

Excellent benefits but little chance of advancement in Production/Design.

Cons

They're flattening many departments eliminating any chance of promotion and putting middle managers on the unemployment line.
