You get what you pay for

Pros

Excellent working conditions. Floor management is easy to follow and get along with. Honestly make you feel like you are appreciated.

Cons

Low pay and an undue long wait for benefits and raises leaves a revolving door on the distribution center. Quality employees don't stick around long, moving on to better paying jobs almost immediately, leaving only the dregs of the employable to hire on and stay.

Lots of opportunities within, but low pay

Pros

Amazing benefits, smart people, lots of opportunities within the company, relaxed environment in most departments despite stressful deadlines.

Cons

Most people leave Pearson and then come back in order to get pay raises. Otherwise, you'll be stuck at same pay forever. Also, most departments require sales experience for open positions even if that offers little benefit to the job itself.
