Pros

Work with smart and interesting people to improve educational products and services.

Cons

Multiple waves of layoffs over the past few years has led to most remaining employees being overstretched. With the stress of extra work and close colleagues leaving, the morale in the office is low.

Pros

- Focus on Always Learning, great professional development opportunities - Competitive pay for the Denver area - Opportunity to work on some interesting projects

Cons

- Layoffs have lead to the only managers left to be survivors (meaning not the strongest managers but those who can play off failures to other teams). - In the better parts of the company, a focus on providing toys (laptops, high end monitors, noise-cancelling headphones) rather than improving pay and therefore retention. - Mid-level management does not know what it is doing. - Lack of responsibility or awareness that there are glaring reasons why employees are leaving in droves.
