Pros

Usually easygoing, allows work-life balance - usually no overtime or stress. People are generally nice and supportive. Administration works flawlessly.

Cons

Projects are generally not very interesting to develop and release cycles are longer than a year. Pivots in products are common. Hardly any bonuses or salary hikes. No investment in UI/UX, probably because the target market is not consumers but rather enterprises.

Pros

Good to have in your resume. Exciting work in if in development. Some good, intelligent colleagues.

Cons

No salary increase despite exceeds expectations performance reviews, No HR presence. HR/management are clueless and do not care about employees. Lots of incompetent, arrogant people from acquisitions. Progress depends on immediate manager. Unfortunately there are a lot on incompetent managers, with little/disappointing/no leadership. If you are a mindless person, you will fit in nicely.
