Pros

Oracle is a very humane company to work for. The work atmosphere is exceptionally conducive to employees and complete freedom is given to transfer within groups. The pace of work is usually quite manageable, especially when compared to other IT companies.

Cons

The company is too big and it is easy to get lost. Some groups, especially those working on legacy products, tend to use outdated technology and career prospects could be limiting n such situations.

It used to be a good place to work; but the smart and good people leave if the can; insurance is pretty good

Cons

No raises in six years; no communications from upper mgmt.; we were told on Conference calls to quit asking questions about Raises years ago; no morale left.
