Pros

Larry Ellison still has a high touch in the company. Without him, don't know what will happen. Company is good with catching up even if behind so something wrt to execution is still right. There are good technical folks. Product mgmt was for most part missing from sight.

Cons

Pretty big, a lot of visibility wont be there with other group and what they are doing. Among the larger companies, not perceived as high as google, facebook, amazon etc.

Cons

Slow moving - approval overhead is huge. Very top down driven - little room for true empowerment/decision making below VP levels.
