Pros

Good name to have on resume

Cons

This company is just so cheap and does not value their workers. I know that's the case for most companies, but this one is just actually worse. I was part of the layoffs March 31st and I was genuinely surprised by how poorly they treated their employees. The severance package might've been the worst out of all tech companies, considering how easily they could've beefed these up a couple weeks and made some people's lives a lot easier. Also raises and promotions are pretty hard to get here. I was making same salary and same level 2 years 10 months into working here. Benefits are not good, 401k match is awful. 6 in 3 match vesting every year for 4 years😂. Get in, learn some stuff, get the name on ur resume. And get out. My new job is better in every way, pay benefits etc. this is a stepping stone not a career

Pros

Future may well be very different as the company is shifting more toward cloud and applications and away from database, but from within the Cloud organization the job was rewarding. Overall hasn't been a bad place to work, but this year may change that with all the layoffs and re-shifting they're doing.

Cons

Bureaucracy, strict rules around change management
