      Stable and diversified company, no concern the company will soon go under like many software start-ups. You can count on Oracle to almost always meet earnings. They grow primarily by buying other companies and continuing to support those product lines.

      Cons

      Bonuses and stock options are hard to come by these days, even though they are making lots of money.

      Oracle is a good place to work, if you really wanted to grow technically. These are the following pros : 1) Good technical growth 2) chance to work with lit if smart & very experienced people 3) Good management support for highly motivated & enthusiastic candidates 4) Excellent work environment, as managers themselves are very technical. 5) Performance is recognized and rewarded with promotion.

      Cons

      1) Hike/bonus is normally relatively less, event if you are a outstanding candidate.

      Server Tech division which includes database, enterprise manager are good to work in. People are smart and friendly. Good telecommuting culture and flexible work hour. But you have to work hard in order to advance. That's true everywhere

      Cons

      When you hit a plateau in learning, it is up to yourself to look around for opportunities. Keep looking. No one will do it for you.
