Pros

Generally hours are not bad. Can work at home often. Working in the internal database team will have interesting projects.

Cons

Environment is not very friendly. More senior engineers and engineers can treat "lower" engineers very dismissively. Not much opportunities for career advancement, as the database team is very mature.
