Strong mission-driven culture with a genuine focus on the customer and the planet. There is a clear commitment to moving at pace, but it’s balanced by an empathetic leadership style that avoids putting unnecessary pressure on employees. I also love that it’s a low-ego environment where people of any level genuinely don't take themselves too seriously.
Cons
Like in big organisations, the structure is complex, involving matrix management, global dimensions, and the relationship with the external tech provider, Kraken (which used to be part of the same company). It often feels like a 'huge startup', consequently, there is a lack of formal processes and ways of working. Communication is heavily centered on Slack, which can be inconvenient for some people preferring old-style conversations.
